Principal's Message
Dear Falcon Families,
My name is George Duarte and I am very excited to be the new principal of Aliso Viejo Middle School. So many wonderful things about our school and community have been shared with me. My most recent assignment was as principal of Ladera Ranch Middle School for the past eight years. Prior to that I was the principal of San Clemente High School for seven years and an assistant principal there for seven more. Before joining Capistrano Unified School district in 1999, I was a teacher, activities director, and administrator for a grade 7-12 school in the high desert from 1992 to 1999.
AVMS is a special school and I very much look forward to working with each of you to make sure that each child is safe, academically and emotionally supported, and connected to our school community. I am committed to continuing to lead AVMS in its excellence as we meet every student’s needs.
